DOPS oral powder Dosage

One or two teaspoons diluted in a glass of water, either 1 hour after each of the main meals, or at the time of pain.

• – Severe renal failure.

• Association against-indicated : quinidine.

• Anti-acid by sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, magnesium salts, neutral calcium phosphate.
• One teaspoon (3 g of powder) neutralizes 45 mEq of H + ions.
• Protection of the gastric mucosa by titanium dioxide.

• Reduction of acidification of stools. Do not combine in the event of hepatic encephalopathy.

Salicylates:

• Increased renal excretion of salicylates by alkalinization of urine.
