ACTI 5 Dosage

Dosage

FOR ADULTS ONLY

  • 2 to 3 ampoules per day, to be taken diluted in a little water before meals.
  • Due to the presence of vitamin C, avoid taking it at the end of the day.

  • DO NOT USE FOR MORE THAN 4 WEEKS.

ACTI 5 Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in the following situations:

  • Hypersensitivity to the constituents of the solution, in particular methyl parahydroxybenzoate or propyl
  • Due to the presence of sorbitol, in case of fructose intolerance.
  • This medication is generally not recommended, due to the presence of sorbitol, in combination with KAYEXALATE (see section Interactions with other medicinal products and other forms of interactions).

Due to the presence of sorbitol, the combination of this drug is not recommended with:

Kayexalate (oral and rectal routes)

  • Risk of colonic necrosis, possibly fatal.

Due to the alcohol content (0.09 g per ampoule), the combination of this medication should be taken into account with:

  • Drugs that induce an antabuse reaction with alcohol (warmth, redness, vomiting, tachycardia) with alcohol: disulfiram, cefamandole, cefoperazone, latamoxef (antibacterial cephalosporins), chloramphenicol (antibacterial-phénicolé), chlorpropamide, glibenclamide, glipizide , tolbutamide (antidiabetic sulfonylureas), griseofulvin (antifungal), nitro-5-imidazoles (metronidazole, ornidazole, secnidazole, tinidazole), ketoconazole, procarbazine (cytostatic).
  • Central nervous system depressants.

What is  Forms and Composition ?

COMPOSITION

Active substances

  • 23% (v / v) hydro-alcoholic solution of deanol pidolate: 0.25000 ml
  • Corresponding amount of deanol pidolate: 0.100 g
  • Magnesium para-aminobenzoate hexahydrate: 0.41600 g
  • Corresponding amount of magnesium: 0.025 g
  • Sodium ascorbate: 0.22500 g
  • Corresponding amount of ascorbic acid: 0.200 g
  • For a 5 ml ampoule.

Other components

  • Sorbitol, sucrose, glycerol, mirabelle flavor (alcoholates and alcohol of tea, mirabelle, raspberry, cocoa and strawberry, concentrated apple and cherry juices, extracts of vanilla, tonka beans and woodruff, essential oils of lemon, davanéa, neroli, red vine, orange, rose and cinnamon, vanillin, benzoic aldehyde, ethyl and amyl acetates, amyl butyrate, gamma-undecalactone, butyl alcohol), cyclamate sodium, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.
